Introducing...Becky Flint

We would like to officially introduce you to a new team member! That’s right, we’ve been quiet over the last three months as we all adjust to the new dynamic. A huge welcome to Becky Flint who joins us as an Account Manager. Becky has worked in FTSE100 companies and has a background in bid and proposal management, we’re excited to have her as part of the Silver Jet team. She brings with her extensive experience of working with clients, understanding their needs and helping organisations uncover the value that they offer to their clients, as well as strong tea making abilities, something valued highly in our office!

So that you can get to know Becky a little better I asked her to answer a few questions.

Summarise your role in one paragraph

As an Account Manager I am responsible for managing our relationships with our clients and working closely with them as their key point of contact. I’m here to make sure that the clients’ needs are met and timelines adhered to.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

I think the best part of the job is working directly with clients and getting to see the positive impact the work we do has on their business. In my previous roles, although I worked on client requirements, I was more removed from the results of that work. I focused on outlining solutions and rarely got to see the outcome. I love being able to discuss things more thoroughly with our clients and see how the work we do affects them.

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

I’d have to be a cat, they’ve got the world wired. Cats are always in charge and what could be nicer than snoozing happily in a patch of sunshine.

What’s your favourite thing about working for a small business?

I’ve previously only worked in large corporate environments and working for a small business is a very different experience. I love that I get to be involved in all areas of the business and can really see the impact of the things I do. Working for a small business means you need to have a wider range of skills and you can easily use them all in one day. I contribute to aspects of the business that in a corporate environment would be passed to another team. That variety and feeling like the things I do matter to the business is my favourite thing. The team isn’t bad either!

If you could go on a holiday anywhere (money is no object) where would it be?

This is such a tough question because if I could I’d go everywhere! At the moment I think I’d love to have time out to rest and recharge so the Maldives, with one of those lovely huts out over the water.

Why do you think Silver Jet stands out from competitors?

We’re able to bridge the gap between disciplines in a way other companies aren’t. Typically, other agencies offer a siloed approach to providing CRM/integrated journeys e.g. separate roles/departments for analysts, data planners and journey designers. We stand out because we offer the cohesive approach to these services that our competitors can’t.

What is the one job you would leave Silver Jet for?

I love the written word and have always wanted to be a writer of some kind. I'd love to be the female Stephen King (although hopefully less weird) or a travel writer. These days I have a family and travel requires a lot more planning, so I think if I write a successful novel I might have to leave Silver Jet, until then they’re stuck with me!
